Injury Prevention for Cellists Workshop (July 20th, 2019 1pm)

In this workshop, Dr. Green will discuss the most common causes of injuries in Cellists, as well as demonstrate rehabilitative and prevention strategies to combat these issues.
Dr. Alex Green is a graduate of Logan University and holds a doctorate in chiropractic. He is a native of Northern Virginia.Dr. Green applies the science of movement (kinematics) with the engineering principles of the body (biomechanics) to devise unique therapeutic approaches to each individual’s problems, and provide them with specific and directed rehabilitation programs. He identifies the underlying cause of a patient’s injuries through functional analysis of posture and the gait cycle. He utilizes Kinesio taping, ultrasound, and cold laser to help provide active support to the affected joints and to speed the healing process.
